Listen to Cosmic Slop on Rhythm Section Radio ahead of the Session on Saturday

Cosmic Slop is a party that happens in Leeds twice a month. On top of having one of the most Hi-Fidelity sound systems in the country, they also have some of the deepest crates, most devoted regulars and best dancers.
As if all that wasn’t enough, every penny from the dance goes towards MAP: a Leeds based Charity that provides workshops and education for children that can’t access Main stream education…… It’s a shining example of the positive force of music and it is, quite frankly, humbling.

Some of you may have been lucky enough to catch Mike Greenwell and Tom Smith (the cosmic slop selectors) at plastic people last week. Floating Points invited them down to take care of duties while he was away and they more than filled his boots. If you did miss that you can also catch the guys play some records and talk a bit about what they do on the latest rhythm section show here:

£1000 from door proceeds will be donated straight to the charity, and there will be a box on the way in and the way out if you want to leave some more.
